Founded in Panama's Darien province, Darien Academy was established to provide unparalleled expedition training. Under Daniel Eggington’s expert leadership, we ensure each student gains practical skills needed for navigating the complex jungle environment safely and effectively. Our mission is to prepare explorers and leaders with knowledge, skills, and respect for the rainforest ecosystem.
Meet Our Team
Led by Daniel Eggington, with expedition experience in the Darién Gap, Rio Negro, and Essequibo River, Darien Academy is supported by instructors with backgrounds in Operation Raleigh and high altitude mountaineering.
This combination brings experience across jungle and high-altitude environments, shaping training that focuses on decision-making, movement, and resilience in conditions where poor judgment carries consequence.
